Welcome Back boxes
As part of our ministry to women being released from prison, we provide a gift. This gift is a box of items that are intended to help them with their transition and to welcome them to our community. We need individuals or groups to put together these gift boxes in order that we may carry on this ministry to these women.
"Welcome Back" box contents:
- one standard plastic pencil box to hold contents (approx. 5"x8"x2.5")
- personal note of encouragement
- daily mini diary or day planner (preferably containing inspirational quotes)
- small journal/notepad
- pen and pencil
- 4"x 6" stand-alone plastic photo frame
- $20 gift card for Safeway or Save On Foods
- 1 or 2 Telus phone cards
- 4 - 6 bus tickets
- chocolate bar
- pack of chewing gum
- Bible (these will be provided by The Canadian Bible Society)
- optional: bag to put "Welcome Back" box in (we can provide this if needed)
